Maestro Andrea Loss


Born in Rovereto in 1977, Andrea began clarinet lessons at a young age studying with Massimo Zenatti and Paolo Beltramini, specializing later with Alessandro Carbonare (cl) and Gianni Basso (sax). He has taken conducting courses with maestros such as Jan Cober (NL) and Ronald Johnson (USA) and now works intensely, mainly as a guest conductor and teacher.
He has conducted widely in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia and Malta.

He founded the “Liceo Antonio Rosmini” Wind Orchestra, now named Rovereto Wind Orchestra, in Rovereto in 1997, which he continues to conduct to this day. Furthermore, in 2012 he became Artistic Director of the "Istituto Superiore Europeo Bandistico" in Mezzocorona (TN - Italy) also taking on the role of secretary of the "Associazione Mozart Italia" in 2013.
